Graduation Time.

This one goes out to my hubby, Craig. It is quite amazing how someone decides to change their career at the age of 38. I will never forget the day that I got a phone call from Craig while I was at school. He never calls me at work. He told me that he had been to Aquinas and it was the last day to register for classes for that semester and he wanted to start nursing school. Amazingly enough, I had suggested he be a nurse, but we hadn't gone that much farther into the conversation. I can't believe it has been over 2 (long) years and he is finally done! It has been a really hard time for the both of us. Long hours of studying and working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We both made it! I am so glad that he is happy and has a wonderful career ahead of him. I am also so proud of him for landing a fantastic job at Vanderbilt in the nurse residency program. I will say that when Craig has a goal that he will damn well reach that goal. He has pushed through it with hardly any fight. So, on his big day (Saturday) I will be cheering him on and secretly thinking how glad I am to have my best friend back. It has been a long road, but we both pulled through.

I am so jealous that Craig gets to wear scrubs to work.

The end is here! Party time at the Dore's.
